So you've read
through the material of our Order and (hopefully) have been
impressed. GREAT! Learning about the Order is the first step
to a successful DeMolay membership. If you haven't learned
enough about us yet, head over to the What Is DeMolay?
section (link located at the top of this page) or check out DeMolay.org.
So what's the
next step? Well, after you have read all you'd like, make
sure your parents are fully informed about everything
DeMolay stands for. After all, parents have the opportunity
to participate in DeMolay as Advisors and/or members of the
chapter's Parents Club.
Next, there are
a few requirements for your membership to DeMolay that you
must meet. Here is the list of those requirements...
- You must be a
young man between the ages of 12 and 21
- You must be of
good moral character
- You must
believe in a supreme being (All religions are welcome).
After you are all ready, you
can e-mail me (the webmaster and member of Kirkwood Chapter)
by clicking here.
Soon, you will receive a
petition of membership (rather via internet, mail, or in
person) which you can fill out with your parents.
Then, bring that petition to
the chapter you desire to join along with your membership
fee. This one-time fee covers your life-time membership and
varies chapter to chapter.
After that, your induction to
the Order of DeMolay will be at a following date.
